This can increase the productivity and beauty of the building.
On the other hand, building glass is one of the important elements in building design and construction. Due to transparency, providing natural light in the interior of the building plays a key role in our physical and mental health. Also, glass is considered as a suitable sound insulation and heat supply for the building, which prevents the penetration of moisture and rain into the structure due to its waterproof capability.
History of glass industry in Iran and the world:
In 1914, the automatic flat glass production machine was invented by Forkelt, and in 1925, the automatic glass tube production machine was invented by Damer. In 1935, the production of cup glass was completed by Cleburne, and finally, in 1957, the automatic glass production machine by floating method was registered by Pilkington brothers. It is interesting to know that the industrial production of glass in Iran, which is mostly used in the construction sector, is nearly 50 years old.
Today, glass and glass products are considered as one of the most important industries in most countries of the world. The versatility of glass products, the specificity of some of these products and their numerous and increasing applications have made this industry important for everyone. The glassmaking industry in Iran has been traditionally common for many years, and even until the early 1340s, this profession was not offered in an industrial form.
